I should correct you though.&#xD;
I didn't come up with "googleganger" either. I think it's fairly commonly used in some circles, especially among people who are concerned about their identity on the internet (often for professional reasons).&#xD;
&#xD;
I heard it for the first time about 5 years ago from a software engineer when we were talking about the fact that some employers will google employee's and interviewee's names to find out if they are involved in any activities that they find goes against the image the company wants to portray.</summary>

    <summary type="html">someone with your exact name (but NOT you) whom you find on an internet search. derivation: Google plus the second half of the word "doppelganger" a German word meaning your double...somebody who is your twin in all but parentage. i should mention that i didn't come up with "googleganger" myself, a friend did (&amp;amp; i hope to induce her to join us here).</summary>
